EasyTimer

Local time

Online Clock

Use EasyTimer as a clean online clock for the current local time, today's date, or both together. The display follows your browser's time zone, keeps the digits stable as seconds change, and lets you choose automatic, 12-hour, or 24-hour formatting. Turn seconds on for a precise wall-clock reference, or keep them off for a calmer display on a desk, wall screen, classroom projector, reception display, or second monitor. There is no account, installation, or distracting dashboard — open the page and the clock is ready.

What can you use an online clock for?

  • ✓Meetings and presentations — keep the current local time visible on a second screen so speakers, facilitators, and attendees can coordinate without opening a separate clock app.
  • ✓Classrooms and shared spaces — show a large, readable time display on a projector or smartboard while keeping the rest of the browser interface out of the way.
  • ✓Travel and remote work — check the browser's local time zone before joining a call, scheduling a handoff, or comparing a deadline with someone in another region.
  • ✓Reception desks, offices, and events — use the date-and-time view when visitors need both the current time and the full calendar date at a glance.
  • ✓Precise time checks — enable seconds when coordinating a broadcast cue, race start, experiment, rehearsal, cooking checkpoint, or other event that depends on a visible wall clock.
  • ✓Fullscreen displays — enter browser fullscreen for a clean clock on a TV, kiosk, wall display, confidence monitor, or always-on workstation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this online clock free?

Yes. EasyTimer.app's online clock runs in the browser, needs no account, and is free to use.

Which time zone does the clock use?

The clock uses the local time zone reported by your browser and shows that zone beside the display. This makes the reading useful when a laptop has travelled, a meeting spans regions, or you are checking a remote-work handoff.

Can I switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time?

Yes. Open Clock Settings or use the clock controls to choose Automatic, 12-hour, or 24-hour formatting. Automatic follows the browser locale preference; the explicit options keep the format fixed.

Can I show the date as well as the time?

Yes. Choose Date + Time for a combined view, or Date when you only need the current calendar date. The full date is rendered as readable text rather than a numeric string that can be ambiguous across regions.

How do I show seconds?

Press the Seconds control or open Clock Settings and turn on Show seconds. Leave seconds off for a quieter wall display, or enable them when a precise visible reference matters.

Does the clock keep working if I change tabs?

The browser may reduce background-tab updates, but the clock is recalculated from the current wall time rather than counting missed one-second ticks. When you return, it catches up to the correct local time.

Can I use this clock fullscreen on a TV or projector?

Yes. Use the fullscreen control in the glass tray, then keep the display on the screen you want people to see. Kiosk mode is also available when you need the timer chrome and below-fold content hidden from a shared display.

Is this the same as the countdown timer?

No. The main timer counts down from a duration you choose and has Start, Pause, Reset, and add-time controls. The clock shows the current wall time continuously, so it uses clock-specific display controls instead of countdown actions.
