Can I change the color of the plane?

No — the figure is a fixed monochrome illustration, rendered light-on-dark so it reads against the page background. You can still change the timer digit color in settings.

Does the animation distract from the timer?

It is a single minimalist line of motion above the digits, so the countdown stays the clear focal point.

Does it respect reduced-motion settings?

If your device requests reduced motion, EasyTimer.app pauses the animation and shows a still frame, so the plane no longer moves.

Why is this on its own page instead of in the background settings?

The animation uses a separate animation library (Lottie) that we keep off the homepage for fast load times. Its own route means visitors who do not want it never download it.
