No accounts, no signup

EasyTimer.app does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information. The timer runs entirely in your browser.

Local storage and URL parameters

Your timer settings (duration, font, colour, background, position, etc.) are saved in two places:

• Browser localStorage — settings persist across sessions on the same device and browser. Clearing your browser data removes them.
• URL parameters — settings are encoded in the URL so you can share or bookmark exact configurations. The URL is processed locally; nothing is sent to a server.

No tracking cookies, no analytics on individual users

EasyTimer.app does not set tracking cookies, does not run third-party analytics scripts on individual users, and does not load advertising or social-media trackers.

Hosting infrastructure (Vercel) may collect aggregate, anonymised request metadata (IP address for rate limiting, user-agent for compatibility logging) — standard for any HTTPS service. This data is not joined to any user profile by EasyTimer.app.

Service Worker

EasyTimer.app registers a service worker (sw.js) so the timer works offline once loaded. The service worker caches static assets locally; it does not collect or transmit any data.

Embedded use cases (OBS, iframes)

When you use EasyTimer.app as an OBS browser source or in an iframe on another website, the timer runs in a sandboxed browser context. EasyTimer.app cannot read information from the host site, and the host site cannot read your EasyTimer.app settings.
