Does the wave-ring animation distract from the timer digits?
No — the inner ring stops well outside the timer digits, and the animation hue defaults to a low-saturation teal that recedes behind the digits. The digits stay sharp and high-contrast.
Can I change the wave-ring color?
The wave-ring tint follows your chosen text color automatically. Pick a text color in settings and the animation shifts hue to match.
Does this work for OBS streams?
Yes. Use EasyTimer.app's standard OBS settings (transparent background available via the share URL) and the wave-ring renders as a normal browser-source overlay.
Why is this on its own page instead of in the background settings?
The wave-ring uses a separate animation library (Lottie) that we keep off the homepage to keep load times fast. Putting it on its own route means visitors who do not want the animation never download it.
Will more animated backgrounds be added?
Yes — the /animated route group is designed to host more Lottie-based animated backgrounds over time. Each lives at its own URL so they stay performance-isolated.
